My wife and I have been taking our cars to Mike and his expertise staff for over 20 years and have NEVER had any issues with our vehicles. To say the least, Automotive Excellence is the best auto repair and maintenance shop I have ever dealt with. Work is done on time with all tasks clearly explained to the customer. There are no hidden issues as Mike & Co. point out all future maintenance items. I rarely give a five star rating to any company but when you've never had an issue with that company or the service they provide for OVER TWO DECADES, then you know they have truly earned my highest recommendation.

Mike and the crew are extremely knowledgeable, have excellent customer service, and provide quality repairs at way better prices than a dealership. They have kept my Honda running for years. OMG, I can't believe how great this shop is! For the SECOND TIME, Mike has saved me close to $400. This time, I had my car towed to the nearest shop (Firestone) thinking Rohnert Park was too far. They charged $150 for a diagnosis and then told me I needed a new distributer for $625. I called Mike to run it by him and he knew immediately that I didn't need a distributor, but I needed a new part inside the distributor. Long story short, I towed the car to Automotive Excellence and they fixed it for $300 plus they washed and waxed my car! The tow was only $40 and Firestone refunded me $75 after I made a stink so I made out alright, mostly thanks to Mike. He has my loyalty! I have a hard time trusting mechanics so I am very relieved to have found Automotive Excellence. They were recommend by a friend but it wasn't until they saved me at least $650 that I really became a fan. Another mechanic told me I needed a knew clutch and it would cost $850. I called Mike at Automotive Excellence and told him what was happening. He said it didn't sound like a clutch problem - it was probably a clutch master and slave issue. I have used Automotive Excellence for more than 15 years for both a Honda and a Toyota that we have owned. Mike and his mechanics are very careful and through. They have kept both of our cars in excellent shape. They take extra steps to look and test for things that could be problems later. It's nice to be able to know your car is going to continue to be reliable because someone who is familiar with it has gone over it carefully. Thank you for doing such a nice job on my repair! Cory and crew did an excellent job--I called and was able to get an appointment the next morning. Diagnosed the problem in a couple of hours and had it fixed by 3 pm! Thank you for my unexpected vacation day! I especially appreciated that they had my name on the little welcome sign for the day. First to Review They do Honda's too. Mike (the owner) works there and it shows. They've kept my 94 Honda going for over 250,000 miles. They don't rip you off and they'll give you a loaner car if you ask. Not cheap, but they're honest.
